Safe Haven Receives 18K Grant From The Emergency Food and Shelter Program
Safe Haven is pleased to announce the receipt of a $18,000 grant from the Emergency Food and Shelter Program. These funds are part of a national program to transition homeless individuals into permanent housing. Safe Haven can use the funds to serve Johnson County by assisting with short term emergency shelter, late mortgage payments, rent, utilities, food, and limited supplies such as cleaning supplies. Safe Haven is a 501(c) 3 non-profit with the goal of providing hope and guidance to women escaping life-controlling situations and overcoming addiction. Safe Haven serves the community by providing education classes, case management, career development, sober living facility, and emergency services.
