Safe Haven Celebrates the Opening of their New Home for Women in Crisis
Safe Haven is proud to announce the opening of their new transitional housing facility for women in crisis. This new home, located on Rogers Street in Clarksville, has the ability to house twelve women. It also has an administration building and a warehouse.
“We have been bursting at the seams since we opened our home in February of 2021. This new facility gives us growing room and the amazing opportunity to empower more women to change their lives,” said Sarah Bolduc, Safe Haven Administrator.
Providing a safe place to live is only one part of the extensive program Safe Haven offers. Safe Haven’s goal is to equip women with the necessary tools to live independent, successful lives.
“Our residents not only receive a safe place to heal and live in, they receive educational classes, coping skills, case management, budgeting and so much more. We truly pour into our clients while they live in the residence. By the time they leave, they are equipped to face life’s challenges with a new support system,” said Sharon Garrett, Director.
Safe Haven’s services are free to the public and include a variety of services in addition to the transitional home. If you or a loved one are in need of assistance, call Safe Haven at 479-705-0118.
